She is NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Specializing in Corrective Exercise, Mobility, MFR, Food and Nutrition. 👋 My name is Jessica Mirsky and I am happy to serve you and your needs here at JB Fitness as much or as little as you like as your Head Trainer. Fitness and Health has been a huge part of my life since a young kid. I Grew up in gyms, as my parents till this day still work in the gym industry. I even had a gym in my house growing up, as my mom use to personal train out of our home. My parents inspired me to help others. And grateful for them everyday for such a great example they set for me. I have a true passion for competitive sports. I've competed in Gymnastics, softball to even football. I've pretty much tried it all. 😁 In the last 10 years I have been personal training, and coaching gymnastics. And truly enjoy sharing what I love. I have also competed in numerous natural bodybuilding shows. And in 2015 won my first Pro-Card in Woman's figure. And in this past year, won my 2nd Pro-Card in Woman's Bodybuilding, finishing 5th in the world in LA, and 4th in Woman's fitbody. That day was one of the happiest days of my life. I am so proud of myself for following thru on my goals for 2022. Being also a client, My coach/trainer encouraged me to be the best I could be, and he did just that. I couldn't have reached my goals without him! I'm a happy single mom of a beautiful little boy. His name is Dylan, and makes me so proud to be his Mommy. He is almost 10 years old, and one heck of an athlete. He didn’t fall too far from the tree. My goals here at JB Fitness is to bring a fun, exciting, and fresh outlook on training, food guidance, and education to give all my clients a safe and successful fitness journey in order to set them up for success in reaching all their personal goals, mentally physically, spiritually, and emotionally. And as I mentioned earlier, I am ALWAYS here to help you as much or as little as you need. I have worked with about every type of client, and always continuing my education to grow and learn more. And I especially look forward to meeting you!

Philosophy and Approach
My name is Briana Short, and I am deeply committed to the belief that nutrition and exercise work together to create powerful, transformative results. By optimizing both areas in our daily lives, we can move beyond simply getting by and truly begin to thrive.
Education and Professional Development
I am set to graduate from Bastyr University in June 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, Food and Exercise. Alongside my undergraduate studies, I am pursuing a personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). In Fall 2026, I will return to Bastyr University to start the graduate program for a Master of Science in Nutrition.
Personalized Wellness Philosophy
One of the most important lessons I have learned throughout my education is that nutrition and exercise are not one-size-fits-all solutions. Individualized plans yield the best outcomes because everybody is unique. My passion lies in supporting people as they build functional fitness and maintain their independence.
Coaching and Client Support
I am dedicated to guiding others to become stronger by providing customized fitness routines and emphasizing the significance of proper nutrition. Through a combination of resistance training, cardiovascular activities, and balanced meal planning, I help clients build muscle mass, increase energy, and improve their overall well-being. Whether someone is just beginning their fitness journey or seeking to advance their current abilities, I believe that a personalized approach to exercise and healthy eating empowers individuals to achieve their goals and maintain long-term results.
Personal Background
Since 2018, I have lived in Monroe with my husband and our two children, who are 2 and 6 years old. As a family we love spending time outside with our dogs, and have recently added chickens, which has made our outdoor adventures that much livelier!
